Our Team - Matt
Matt wears many hats including husband and father, small business owner, and contractor. What started as a love for home renovation, projects, and upgrades for family and friends has turned into a passionate career providing trusted expertise for both Commercial business owners and Residential homeowners alike.
Professionally, Matt has been in the construction business since 2013 providing construction services in the metro-Atlanta, Georgia area and has been expanding on his experience and skills ever since. When his family moved back to Iowa in 2018, he worked as a project manager for a successful custom home build company in the area. Matt’s dream to own his own business came true in the spring of 2022 when Great Plains Construction was born.

Tom's experience in the construction industry spans over 40 years.
In those years, he has built a reputation for doing business that is straightforward, ethically guided and is without compromise. This guided approach has resulted in delivering successful projects that include both residential and commercial construction that have ranged from $10,000 to $26 million.
After having built over 250 custom homes and hundreds of commercial buildings located in multiple areas of the country, including numerous iconic commercial buildings throughout the Quad Cities regional area, Tom is now fortunate enough to partner with his son, Matt, in building a family construction business. A business that will continue to be guided by a very simple concept - deliver a project to our clients that is simply the best.
